My apologies again for the infrequency of posts. Just this week I am finishing up six summer credits of German (required for my MA). I have an oral exam tonight and my written final on Thursday night. I can’t wait to get back to photos full time, and stop mucking about with adjective endings to compliment nouns—the genders of which I have no real hope of learning given my Sitz im Leben heutzutage.
Back to pleasant things: Tom and Vanessa were married at Cammidge House—an old house near the beach somewhere in Delta, (but it felt like Whiterock). The house sat on an expansive lawn where they were able to be married outside and set up a tent for the reception. The whole wedding had a marvelous summery feel—the house serving only as the base of operations for catering and bathrooms. There were cowboy hats, bubble blowing and bocce ball. Even the cupcake cutting was outside in sunset light. I have posted a lot of guest candids here because I had such fun casually shooting people flash free (and therefore quite inconspicuously) till long after sunset. There are also some flash pictures posted at the very end, capturing some off-beat moments which tend to happen after dark…
