A lovely wedding from almost two years ago — a couple who shares our own anniversary and was very sweet to give us our own little table at the reception.
Dawne was in town from Hong Kong, Chris from San Francisco. We had one night we could do the engagement shoot…despite Jules being sick on the couch this evening and me driving home in a cold sweat suffering from the onset of food poisoning, we made it work! Many thanks to Erin Bishop of Filosophi Event Planning and Design for help with the shoot including the hand made save the date banner and showing up to our first location early with a helium tank and big balloons! We are looking forward to convening again next July!

Teresa & Russell’s wedding was like an elopement which included family and close friends. They left their East Van home with suitcases packed for their Montreal honeymoon for which they were leaving only a couple of hours after the ceremony! We did some whirlwind portraits in their neighbourhood before heading to Vanier Park to help friends set up some chairs and refreshments. Guests arrived, they were married, the mingled and they left, as you can see. It was great. The lovely bouquet was by Evan of Flowerz. It was fun to see my brother and cousin there as guests. They’re the ones devouring the photo cookies as per my request.
Has it been a year already?! Happy anniversary to my lovely friends; we loved being guests at your wedding. Even with a three week old baby!
