Aileen & Richard engagement

Jules and I had a lovely time wandering around the city with Aileen and Richard for their engagement portraits. I perhaps waxed chatty, but the weather was nice and conversation was good. And we did indeed get enough lovely shots.

Monisha & Deepak

It was wonderful to meet up on holidays with this fabulous couple I’m happy to know as friends for a scenic drive then a portrait session in a cave, the beach then the ocean… almost all in tropical rain.

Nicole & Matt

It was my pleasure to work alongside Tanya Peters of Milestone Events and Erik Andersen of Lovestory Media last October for Matt and Nicole’s gorgeous fall nuptials. This wedding had me shooting at two new venues for me; the ceremony took place in the Four Seasons Hotel and the Reception found a perfectly-fitting home in the historic Stanley Park Pavilion. The party favours for the ladies was the exact shade of OPI nail polish Nicole was wearing on her toes when she met Matt. Jayna Marie did hair and makeup.

Reesa & Mark

There are not enough morning weddings and lunch time receptions in my opinion! This wedding was gorgeous and had a wonderful flow to it since when it was over we piled into cabs with the bridal party and did their photos and the couple’s portraits in the late afternoon, had a pillow fight and then sent everyone off in cabs again to have Japadogs downtown. A lunch time reception also meant that I got to work with natural light for the entire wedding, which was fabulous. Coordination and florals by Tanya Peters of Milestone Events. The beautiful dessert buffet was created by the bride who now heads YUM Dessert Decor which specializes in such beautiful spreads. Ceremony and reception were at Brock House.

Sabrina & Dale engagement

Full sun 1pm on the beach? Sure! For years I resisted this scenario but I’m glad I’m no longer afraid. We had a great deal of fun at low tide with Sabrina, Dale and Bruiser, running around hiding the frisbee, getting sandy and wet. I love the airy breezy quality of this set so I’m going to post the darker barn interior part of the session on my Facebook page and separate them like that. (I am just feeling too web savvy for my own good today.) We are very much looking forward to Sabrina and Dale’s wedding in August!
